Bruce A. Zenner II, Owner/ Licensed Funeral Director
Bruce was born and raised in Northern Michigan. He graduated from Kingsley High School in 2004 and continued his education at Wayne State University earning a Bachelor’s of Mortuary Science Degree in 2007. Bruce has returned to his roots where he has many family and friends. The Kalkaska area was the perfect place for Bruce and wife Jessy to begin their journey together. Bruce is a Past President of the Kalkaska Rotary Club, member of the Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals, Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee, Chairman of the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center Board of Trustees, and Past Chairman of the Kalkaska Downtown Development Authority.

David E. Wolfe, Licensed Funeral Director / Funeral Assistant
Dave Wolfe has been a licensed funeral director for the past 57 years. He attended Central Michigan University and is a graduate of Wayne State University Department of Mortuary Science. Upon purchasing the former Schwartz Funeral Home, he and his wife, Vickie, moved to Kalkaska where they operated the Wolfe Funeral Home for over 32 years prior to their retirement in 2001. Dave was pleased to join Bruce Zenner and staff in 2012, and serve the Kalkaska area exclusively at Kalkaska Funeral Home.

Rick was born in Ypsilanti and graduated from Willow Run High School. He then spent 4 years in the United States Navy. Rick moved with his wife Marguerite to northern Michigan 32 years ago. Rick enjoys golfing and being outdoors in his free time.

Jessy, a Licensed Funeral Preplanning Specialist and Recreational Therapist, was born and raised in Mayfield, Michigan. Jessy is an active gardener, who has a love for the outdoors and everything nature oriented. In her spare time she volunteers for local organizations and looks forward to future opportunities that will enrich the community.
