Korena Suzanne England

Korena Suzanne England was born on November 28th, 1981. She is the beloved daughter of Timothy and Susan Dorman of Rapid City, MI. Kori is also the sister of Timberlie (Trent) Yanz and Hollie (Scott) Bittenbender, both of Kalkaska, MI. Kori Sue met her high school sweetheart Joshua Ryan England in seventh grade, and they were married on June 21, 2003. Korena played softball and volleyball through high school and graduated from Kalkaska High School in 2000. Kori attended Western Michigan University where she graduated with a BSN in Nursing in 2005. Kori Sue and Josh welcomed their first child Carter Jacob on September 29th, 2005. After graduation they moved back to Kalkaska where Kori began working at KMHC and Joshua began his teaching career at Kalkaska High School. Kori also worked later as a nurse for Dr. Bruce Lirones. In 2007, they welcomed their second child Annabelle Kay on October 2nd. Kori loved to garden, was an excellent cook, loved to travel and to be on Torch Lake with her friends and family. Josh and Kori welcomed their third child Edith Estelle on July 12, 2011 and their fourth child Crosby Eugene on July 10, 2014. Kori was a loving wife and her children were her world. She was a member of the Kalkaska Church of Christ where she began attending in the middle school youth group. Kori Sue will be remembered by her beautiful smile and her contagious laugh. Korena’s laugh could fill up any room she was in. She is survived by her loving parents, her devoted husband and beautiful children. Kori Sue is also the granddaughter of Jim and Doris Tuffts of Kalkaska. Kori is also survived by sister in laws, Julie (David) Buckham and Jodi (Cameron) Shields and a brother in law, Jon (Liz) England, as well as her best friend/cousin Brenda (Chris) Henriet. Kori is the beloved aunt of Timothy and Jackson Yanz, Jet, Jayce and Ella Bittenbender, Bobby, Ryan, Aubin, and McKenzie Shields, Micah, Isaac, and Shiloh Buckham, George, Henry and Daisy England, and Devin and Corbin Henriet. Kori was loved by so many friends and family, too many to mention. Korena was welcomed to heaven by her unborn child and many friends and family. She believed in Jesus as her Savior and was welcomed home on April 23, 2017. A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 4:00 pm, at the Kalkaska Church of Christ, with a gathering time from 1pm until the time of the service. A Memorial Dinner will follow in the lower level of the church.
