Virginia "Terri" Long

Virginia “Terri” Marie Long, 93, of Kalkaska passed away on December 3, 2019. She was born to the late Francis and Marie (Callahan) Tebo on September 24, 1926 in Sault Ste Marie Michigan. She worked for Kalkaska county dispatch for ten years and was an elected County Commissioner for two terms. Virginia enjoyed reading a good book and making arts and crafts. She cherished her time spent with family and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all. Virginia will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years, Clarence Long, children: Marsha Long, Leanna Long, Dale (Deborah) Long, Charlotte (Jeff) Fisher, Nikki (Chuck) Baggs, 18 grandchildren, 37 great- grandchildren and 7 great- great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons: Marshall Long, Leslie Long, granddaughter Treena Fredrickson, and great-grandson Jordan Amos. A funeral will take place on Monday, December 9, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Kalkaska Funeral Home with a visitation starting at noon. Virginia will be laid to rest at Excelsior Township Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kalkaska Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
