Ruthann J. Selleck

Ruthann J. Selleck, 83, of South Boardman, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, with her daughter Denise by her side. She was born to the late Harold and Mary (Brown) Stratton in Flint, Michigan on February 25th, 1938. Ruthann dedicated her life to raising her 6 children. Family was the most important thing to Ruthann, and she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Known for her sense of humor, you could depend on her for a quick laugh and warm hug. Ruthann will be missed by many and thought of often. Ruthann is survived by her daughters Denise Slick, Vicki (Al) Sawosinski, sons Rick Hickman, Matt (Gina) Hickman; siblings Marsha (Leonard) Pickelman, Darlene (Dick) Cryderman, Carol Weire (Dick Hart), Robert Stratton, Bill (Kay) Stratton; numerous grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Dale Stratton, sisters Sharon Hodge and Susan Stratton, sons Mike and Mark and the love of her life Jerry Selleck. Per Ruthann's wishes, a memorial service will take place at Kalkaska Funeral Home on Friday, September 24th, 2021, at 2:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 1pm. In lieu of flowers or donation, we ask that you take a moment to hug your child, grandchild, or friend. Time waits for no one.
