Ruth Ann Lance, 60, of Cicero, Indiana, formerly of Kalkaska, passed away February 11, 2017. She was born on June 22, 1956 in Newaygo, to the late John and Laura (Welch) Rogers. Ruth had a knack for making people smile or laugh and was a Christian with a giving spirit. She loved people and animals, was always upbeat and a mother to many. Ruth ran benefits for the Make a Wish Foundation and was a proud supporter of the Colts and the Wolverines. Ruth is survived by her sons Greg Bechtol and Phillip Lance, grandchildren; Grace, Cassandra, Faith and Stefan, sisters; Joyce Wagner, Susan Rostar, Judy Ford, Virginia Jury and Elona Chance. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Lance, son John Fuller, sister Mary, brothers; Raymond, Billy, and Thomas Rogers. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the Kalkaska Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2pm with final visitation beginning at 1pm at the funeral home on Friday, February 17, 2017. Arrangements were handled by Kalkaska Funeral Home.
