Paul Weldon Beaver, 81, of Kalkaska passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019 in Traverse City. Paul was born to the late Donald and Alzada (Griffith) Beaver on January 2, 1938 in Kalkaska. Paul was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. He was a workaholic but would do anything for anyone at any time. Paul loved to be outdoors enjoying nature. Whether he was at home in his gardens or working for Iott’s Seed Farm, he always kept busy. He loved his family and will be greatly missed. Paul will be lovingly remembered by his children: Tammy (Slim) Hildebrant, Michael (Carrie) Beaver, Debbie (Albert) Kappheim and William (Stephanie) Beaver, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, siblings: Donna Deverney, Richard (Marilyn) Beaver, Pauline (George) Morey, Arlene Hall, Connie (Mike) Winter and many friends. Paul is preceded in death by his father Donald Beaver, mother Alzada Stuck, step-father Ellis “Huck” Stuck, son Hershel Beaver. The family honors the memory of Paul and invites you to join them for funeral services on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Kalkaska Funeral Home with visitation starting at noon. Burial will take place in the spring at the Oliver Township Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kalkaska Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
