Melissa Carol Evans, 41 of Rapid City passed away on May 28, 2021. She was born to Brian and Sherri (Thompson) Chaffee on December 28, 1979 in Lansing MI. Melissa will be lovingly remembered by her parents Brian and Sherri, sons: Tyler (Jen) Atwood, Brad (Desirae) Atwood, Demetrius (Katie) Atwood, Ian McCall, grandchildren: Kason, Addilynn, Damian, Novalyn, Hunter, Mia, Siblings; Nichole Ohler, Syd Chaffee, Jaxon Mann and grandmother Carol Thompson. Visitation will be held from 3-6pm on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Kalkaska Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be on Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 1-4pm at the Mill Pond Event Center, 406 Hyde St., Kalkaska, MI 49646. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kalkaska Funeral Home.
