Marsha Ann Stone

Marsha Ann Stone, 71 of South Boardman, passed away on July 29, 2021 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. Marsha was born on May 6, 1950 in Traverse City to the late William and Betty (Guy) Zick. Marsha grew up in Traverse City, Michigan. She married Wayne Stone on her 17th Birthday, May 6, 1967. They moved to South Boardman with their 3 children in 1977. Marsha was always dedicated to her work place. She loved working in the hospitality business. She retired from Cherry Tree Inn in Traverse City. Marsha enjoyed going to the casino with her husband. In her earlier years she enjoyed dancing, reading, shopping with her daughter and morel mushroom picking. She also enjoyed traveling with family and friends. She loved watching TV, especially the Hallmark Channel. Marsha is survived by her children, William (Judy) Stone of South Boardman, Jeff (Nancee) Stone of South Boardman, Tonya (Tim) Tinker of Traverse City; her grandchildren, Tyler Tinker, Amy Stone, Thomas Tinker and Christy Stone; her sister Sharon Perliski and siblings Christine (Gary) Wilson, Michelle Hansen and Dell Haltley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Stone, her parents, her step mother, Shirley Zick and her sister Billie Jo. A ceremony will be held at 10 am on August 14, 2021 at the South Boardman Cemetery, 4668 Boardman River Road SW, South Boardman, MI 49680. The family is being served by Kalkaska Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
