Jon S. Rinckey Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jon Scott Rinckey, 67, of Kalkaska, passed away on Sunday, July 3rd, 2022. He was born to Mervin and Hannah (Bennitt) Rinckey in Kalkaska, Michigan on September 22nd, 1954. Jon was a family man through and through. He loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of his life. Jon always looked forward to a bike ride with the grandkids or just being able to spend some time outdoors with them. In his spare time, Jon would always pursue his favorite hobbies. These included caring for his beloved animals, working in his garden, and disc golfing. Jon was also a handyman, who loved building and fixing things. Jon always took great care of his family, especially his beloved wife Lynneth who passed away just a few months prior. Jon will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Donna (Aaron) Delcambre; grandchildren Lauren, Naomi, and Kenny; brothers Russell (Sue) Rinckey, and Lyle (Peggy) Rinckey; sisters Marilyn (Ken) Craven, and Merri Lee (Ron) Stetson; and many nieces and nephews. Jon was preceded in death by his wife Lynneth Rinckey; stepson Chuck Kreger and his parents Mervin and Hannah Rinckey. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, July 17th, 2022 at Noon at Jon’s residence. In lieu of flowers or plants, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the family of Jon Rinckey c/o Kalkaska Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kalkaska Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
