Howard Richard Frazier

February 6, 1935 - November 27, 2017

Howard Richard Frazier, 82, of Kalkaska, passed away at home on November 27, 2017. Mr. Frazier was born on February 6, 1935 in Detroit, son to the late Henry and Theresa (Levangie) Frazier. Howard joined the US Army in 1953 and served during Korea. While in the Army he was a bowler. He will always be remembered as a hard worker. In his spare time he loved to work in his yard and being outside; he loved to golf, play baseball, and bowl. He was a member of the VFW. Howard is survived by his wife Mary; daughters: Sheila (Art), Kathy (Tim), Linda, and Lynette; sons: Howard (Pam), Daniel (Linda), and John Henry (MaryBeth); honorary sons: Roy, Bill, and Ken; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 7 granddogs. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marguerite, son William Frazier, and siblings Delores (Richard), Henry (Jannette), Lester (Elaine), Don, Marvin, and Jimmy (Pat). A memorial service will be held in the spring in Warren and Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly will be his final resting place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kalkaska Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
