Gary Jesse Farr, 74, of Rapid City, passed away January 13, 2015 at his home. He was born on April 30, 1940 in Alma, Michigan to the late Charles and Grace (White) Farr. Gary enjoyed tinkering and trading old cars and going to the casino. He is survived by his life partner Teresa (Terry) Plamondon, sons Robert (Sonya), Wayne (Sue), Lonnie (Machelle) and son in law Art Rapoza, 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, sisters Donna Carlson, Carol Ruelle, Charlene King and brother Jim Farr. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, sister Marilyn Holland, Jenny (Durham) Farr mother of his children, daughters Jacklyn Rapoza and Janet Meeker, and son Gary Farr Jr. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 4pm to 8pm at Kalkaska Funeral home. The funeral service will be held Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 1pm, with final visitation beginning at noon, in the Chapel of the Kalkaska Funeral Home. Pastor William Kuiper of Evergreen Bible Baptist Church will officiate the service. Arrangements entrusted to Kalkaska Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
