Patricia A. Yanska

Patricia Yanska~ was greeted by angels and taken to her heavenly home on Friday, November 6, 2020. Patricia was born on February 8, 1940 to William and Marvel Weber of Kingsley. June 13, 1959 Patricia married Joseph Yanska, the young man who caught her eye and she fell in love with. Together they built a life on the family farm and raised their four children. Patricia was a homemaker to the truest extent, and she took her job seriously. You would often find her on the tractor working the fields, baling hay, or plowing snow. If Patricia was not on the tractor you could probably find her working in her vegetable garden, then canning or baking the fruits of her labor. Her family would say that she was almost famous for her flower gardens. Her flowers could be seen from the road and it would not be unusual for someone to stop by to get a closer look, or maybe a sample. She often stated that she got her love of flowers and her green thumb from her father. In her spare time she would make beautiful applique quilts. She even made each grandchild their very own original farm scene quilt. What Patricia enjoyed the most were the simple things that life would give. Going to a Vince Gill concert with her sister Jane or meeting her sister Mari for a little shopping and lunch. These trips always brought her the most giggles and she would talk about them for days. She loved to take a drive around the countryside just to see how everyone’s crops were growing and she would never turn down a soft serve ice cream cone. She found peace and pleasure sitting on her back deck listening to the water rippling in her pond and watching “her” birds. Patricia wasn’t absent from heartache and loss. Her mother Marvel (Baier), brother Roger and father William Weber proceeded her in death. She also said goodbye much to early to her husband Joseph and her oldest child Deborah. Patricia is survived by her children Laurie Thomas, David and Tracy (Steve) Endres. Grand children Leslie, Colleen, Andrea, Zachary, Nathan, Abigail, Nicklas and Samantha. She also was blessed with six great grandchildren. Douglas, Eliot, Owen, Lucas, Skyler, and Sage. Surviving are Patricia’s brothers Dick (Margaret), Ronald (Carol), sisters Mari Quenneville (James Porter, companion), Jane (Terry) Marsh and several nephews, nieces, and cousins. The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Brodeur and the whole Interventional Radiology team at Munson Medical Center. Dr. Brodeur’s kindness, knowledge and support came at a pivotal time when it was needed most. A celebration of life will take place at St. Mary’s of Hannah Catholic Church on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 11:00 am with a graveside service immediately following. Visitation on November 28th will be one hour before the service starting at 10:00 am. The family will also be holding a visitation on Friday, November 27, 2020 from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm to help with social distancing.
