LeeAnn Marie Weber

LeeAnn Marie Weber, 66, of Kingsley, passed away on Thursday, June 27th, 2024, at home surrounded by family. She was born on August 9th, 1957, to Carl and Flossie (Duell) Bauer in Traverse City, MI. LeeAnn attended school in Kingsley, graduating in 1975. On September 24th, 1977, she married the love of her life Richard T. Weber at St. Mary of Hannah Church. They were blessed with 46 years together, raising a son and a daughter along the way. LeeAnn was a lifelong Kingsley resident, she began working at the Kingsley Phone Co., then Montgomery Ward until she settled into her career at Empire National Bank. She eventually retired from Huntington Bank after 38 years of service. In her spare time, LeeAnn loved gardening and canning in the spring and summer as well as traveling to different craft shows, in particular she always enjoyed the Clare Flea Market. When the kids were growing up, she loved to be involved with them in their 4-H projects, as well as going to all their different sporting events throughout the year, even getting herself involved in the athletic boosters. She was very fond of the local Amish community as well, picking up different tips and tricks, along with stopping into their shops. LeeAnn had a group of girlfriends that she traveled the country and world with, she was always looking forward to their annual trip to a new location and had fond memories of prior trips. LeeAnn and Tom enjoyed their evening rides on the side by side to go get ice cream, see friends, and enjoy time together along with going to dinner throughout the week at their favorite spots. She was a devout Christian, attending The Tabernacle in Buckley. Above all, she loved spending time with her five grandchildren. LeeAnn will be missed by all and remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. LeeAnn is survived by her husband Richard T. Weber; mother Flossie Bauer; sister Pam (Trevor) Yetter; son Jay (Kelli) Weber; daughter Kali (Seth) Anderson; grandchildren Grace, Charlee, and Ella Weber, as well as Lucas and Olive Anderson; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Dave (Vivien) Snyder and Kris (Kathy) Weber; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. LeeAnn was preceded in death by her father, Carl Bauer; grandparents Fred (Anna) Bauer and Irene West; and In-laws Jack and Alma Weber. The family is very grateful for Jennifer T., Donna, Munson Hospice, and all of the nurses on the Munson Oncology floor for their passionate care. A special thanks to her Tabernacle Church family for all their love and support. As well as her family and friends that supported her over these last several months. Finally, a special thanks to her guardian angel Vivien Snyder, for all that she’s done. A funeral service honoring LeeAnn's life will take place on Friday, July 5th, 2024, at The Tabernacle in Buckley at 11:00AM. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at 10:00AM. She will be laid to rest in Kingsley at Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in LeeAnn's honor to The Buckley Food Pantry. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kalkaska Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
