Faith Isabella Renee Ager

Faith Isabella Renee Ager, was just 11 ½ weeks old. Faith passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of Saturday, March 1st, 2025. Though she was only here with us for a short time it was evident that she was one loved little girl by all. She always had a smile on that could melt the heart of anyone she encountered. After several weeks at Munson NICU, Faith was finally sent home just in time for New Years. She fit right in with her siblings, 9 in total. Faith was a beacon of light for all, however, to us she was so much more. She was hope for the future, a glimpse of something to come, she was so full of life, love and laughter. She could make even the burliest of men break down giggling and playing like a little kid at recess; her own father most of all, always ready for one of her warm hugs and kisses, she had him wrapped around her little finger already. Snuggles from the best mother she could have had and siblings who couldn’t get enough of her. “Faith as small as a mustard seed can move even the biggest mountains.” Isabella Renee: Isabella means “devoted to God” and Renee is after her mother’s best friend Angela. Faith is survived by her father Ryan L Ager and mother Mary Rose E. Johnson both of Rapid City; 9 siblings: Bently Johnson, Alyviah Ager, Eve Ager, Haylee Ager, Caitlyn Ager, Emma Ager, Piper Ager, Addilyn Ager, and Ember Lynn Groeneveld; grandmothers Dawn Ager of Rapid City and Diane Johnson of Petoskey, and grandfather Gary Johnson of Petoskey. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Bruce Ager of Alpena. Faith was always happy to see everyone and she is missed beyond belief already by all who met her and by some who never even had that opportunity yet. Faith fought a good portion of her life, from being born 6 weeks premature, to being hospitalized for RSV and pneumonia, followed by GI complications at Devos Children’s Hospital of Grand Rapids. She was released to return home on 2/27/2025. Regretfully, our little Faith Isabella was taken from us on 3/1/2025 unexpectedly in her sleep. All will miss this little Angel forever and I for one will never take one second for granted again. Hug your littles everyone because tomorrow is never promised. Arrangements have been made for everyone to pay their last respects and send this sweet little angel off to her final resting place in heaven with Jesus. A funeral service for Faith Isabella Renee Ager will be held at Kalkaska Funeral Home on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 2:00 PM with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
